Dr. Miller has served as the director of the Center for the Study of Theological Education since 2001. She assists in designing research projects, data collection and analysis, program evaluations, and the day-to-day operations of the research center. Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. Her passions are India, where she grew up as the child of missionaries, and long-distance walking/hiking. She has inadvertently become a trip organizer, planning and leading a women’s study trip to India and two women’s groups to walk the Camino de Compostela in Spain.
