Celebrate Scholar-Activism with Auburn Seminary

Dr. George E. “Tink” Tinker, a citizen of the Osage (wazhazhe) Nation, continues his career-spanning efforts both fighting for American Indian justice and challenging eurochristian students and communities to recognize their own history of violence on the continent.

Auburn President, the Rev. Dr. Katharine Rhodes Henderson is grateful for the opportunity to invite you to the reception to honor Dr. Tinker as Auburn’s fifth Walter Wink Scholar-Activist Award winner.

In partnership with Orbis Press, we are delighted to be able to offer 50 free copies of Dr. Tinker’s American Indian Liberation: A Theology of Sovereignty (2008) on a first-come, first-served basis!

Join Auburn Seminary’s practice of radical hospitality to support the work that troubles the waters and heals the world. Food, drinks, and new co-conspirators.
