Miguel has vast experience developing and managing major human resources initiatives in compliance, data systems, payroll and benefits management, employee relations, talent management and employee development. He has worked in several institutions such as The Fifth Avenue Committee, The New School and most recently St. Francis College.

His focus has centered on connecting employee strategies and programs to efficient and streamlined processes. An approach that enables more time focused to serving the mission and a little less on the everyday requirements of administration.

Originally from Camuy Puerto Rico, Miguel grew up in Brooklyn, NY and now resides in Long Island with his wife, son and 2 daughters. He loves sports and working with organizations that help tackle local issues. On his spare time, he is working with a group of Latino mothers looking to connect children with their culture and customs by holding educational and recreational events.
