Lead with love. Heal the world.
At Auburn Theological Seminary, leadership is a shared journey.
Auburn is inspired to meet the reality of a ruptured world with a generational vision that engages its identity as a ten-generation seminary to offer a healing-centered approach to leadership formation. As we seed the future with healing-centered leaders who can sustain their vocations with practices grounded in their spiritual traditions, we are issuing a new call to rising generations to embrace the leadership skills needed to build community, bridge divides, and heal the world.
Auburn has two distinct leadership programs: Emerging Leaders and the Walter Wink Fellowships.
Emerging Leaders
Imagine a space where your passion for social wellbeing, authentic dialogue, and learning in diverse community can come alive.
Auburn Theological Seminary’s Emerging Leaders Program is a dynamic, multi-faith leadership development experience crafted intentionally for emerging faith leaders ages 18–35.
Delivered in-person in communities across the country with a year-long cohort experience, our program is designed to meet you where you are—empowering you with the practical skills, real-world strategies, and supportive network needed to lead in today’s ever-changing social and religious landscape.

Walter Wink Fellows
Our Wink Fellowships are for Christian ministry professionals and religious educators who center children in worship and community life.
This program is for you if you are someone who:
Centers Children in their ministry. You are a leader of children’s ministries and religious education programs.
Embraces Sacred Texts in new and embodied ways. You want to find ways to animate and make sacred stories come alive in ways that inspire a new generation of children.
