Dewerys Vasquez

Dewerys Vasquez is Auburn Seminary’s Data and Technology Manager. He is responsible for the administration and technical support of the database and all Auburn’s technology systems and platforms.

As Auburn’s Data and Information Technology Manager, he ensures that Auburn’s Staff and the Leaders they serve have the necessary technological resources ready at hand and working well to enhance their productivity, thereby contributing to Auburn’s institutional objectives and mission.

Dewerys’ qualifications are based on practical knowledge gained through ten years of experience in the field. He has developed expertise in areas such as network infrastructures, systems administration and security, and cloud-based applications and platforms management. His positions as Manager and Director of Information Technology have provided him with both administrative and practical experience in technology management. As a result, he has acquired an understanding of the concerns facing organizations and businesses, particularly in the nonprofit sector. 

Dewerys holds a degree in Network and Communications Management and an Advanced Diploma in Cyber Security from New York University. 

Dewerys leaves in the Bronx with his wife and two children, he likes to spend his free time exploring the neighborhood and the city with his wife and two children. The Catholic church is a cornerstone of Dewerys’ spiritual practice, but his mother remains his greatest religious teacher.
