Leadership Development

Lead with love. Heal the world.

At Auburn Theological Seminary, leadership is a shared journey.

Through the Janet Prindle Seidler Center for Prophetic Leadership, Auburn is inspired to meet the reality of a ruptured world with a generational vision that engages its identity as a ten-generation seminary to offer a healing-centered approach to leadership formation. As we seed the future with healing-centered leaders who can sustain their vocations with practices grounded in their spiritual traditions, we are issuing a new call to rising generations to embrace the leadership skills needed to build community, bridge divides, and heal the world.

Auburn has four distinct leadership programs: Emerging Leaders, Connecting Generations, Elders, and the Walter Wink Fellowships.

Leadership Development Programs

Imagine a space where an executive leadership development program meets spiritual formation.

Auburn Theological Seminary’s leadership programs are dynamic, multi-faith leadership development experiences intentionally designed for faith leaders across generations. The Emerging Leaders Program for faith leaders ages 18–35, the Connecting Generations Program for faith leaders ages 40–55, and the Elders Program for faith leaders ages 55 and older are offered twice annually and delivered in New York.

Designed to meet you where you are, our programs equip you with practical skills, real-world strategies, and a supportive network to navigate today’s ever-changing social and religious landscape. Each program includes a multi-day, in-person intensive featuring interactive simulations, individual coaching, curated reading materials, and ongoing support beyond the intensive. Our cohorts have 16–20 participants, fostering meaningful connection, collaboration, and growth.
