Dan Fugate (he/him)

I serve Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Carmel, Indiana. Before coming to Pilgrim, I worked as Assistant to the Bishop for Discipleship for the Indiana-Kentucky Synod (ELCA), supporting congregations and leaders across our region. I have both a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry in transformational leadership — which is just a fancy way of saying I love learning how faith and community grow stronger together. I previously served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the ELCA Network for Children, Youth, and Family Ministry. I’m passionate about ministry with children, youth, and their families, and I have a special interest in intergenerational worship that brings all ages together to experience God’s love. I’m really looking forward to learning alongside others who care deeply about helping form faith in people of all ages.
