Debbie Eisenbise (she/her)

I love meeting new people and exploring creative ideas together to advance the common good. I am ordained (36 years in the Church of the Brethren) and find most satisfaction in ecumenical intergenerational experiential ministries. I incorporate biblical monologues, storytelling, poetry, arts and crafts, and exploration of metaphors in all that I do. Along with my current educational ministry at an Episcopal church, I serve on the pastoral team of a wholly online Church of the Brethren congregation, am a spiritual director, grief counselor, and end-of-life doula. I have taught courses on pastoral care, leadership in times of crisis, death and dying, aging, comparative religion and interspirituality. I grew up in Delaware, went to college in North Carolina, lived in Oregon before attending seminary in California, and have lived in the upper mid-west since then. I still desperately miss the ocean and good crab cakes. I enjoy hiking, boating, swimming, cooking, playing games of all sorts, growing native wild plants and sharing a home with two cats.
