Denise M. Mitchell

My name is Denise M. Mitchell and I am excited to be a part of such a unique experience and look forward to learning and growing as a Children's leader. I am a retired elementary teacher. My last assignment was teaching social studies to K-5th grade. I enjoy reading, traveling, and playing games, most recently mah johngg. I recently self published my first children's book, "Memories of Me and Grandma Tee", the story of a nine year old girl who is moving and learning to adjust to new surroundings. It was a dream of mine that I finally accomplished!
