Desmond Kwadzobra, he/him

I am a Master’s student in International Peacebuilding at Hartford International University, shaped by growing up in Gbi Wegbe, a community impacted for decades by the internationally recognized Alavanyo–Nkonya conflict, which destroyed many lives and properties.

As a youth activist, I focus on healing relationships, supporting young people, and creating spaces where dialogue can replace inherited mistrust. Outside academics, I enjoy community engagement, tourism, and bringing youths together through recreational activities. I look forward to learning from a diverse, multi‑faith cohort and strengthening my healing‑centered leadership practice, especially in guiding youths from different cultures toward development. A fun fact: I once organized a peace football match that united rival youth groups from Nkonya and Alavanyo.
