Eileen Ruppel-Doan
Hello! I'm Eileen (she/her) and I am a pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), currently serving Reformation Lutheran Church in Media, PA, outside Philadelphia. I am originally from the Chicago suburbs and attended Augustana College in the Quad Cities, where I studied Religion, Graphic Design, and New Testament Greek. I received my Master of Divinity degree from United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia in 2022. I live with my spouse Ethan (also a pastor), and our three year old son Luca. Aside from being a pastor, I am also a graphic designer and have a small side business creating logos and branding for churches and non profits. I am also passionate about LGBTQIA+ justice, iced coffee, and dyeing my hair unpredictable and fun colors!
Much of my current pastoral call is focused on children, youth, and family ministry and my congregation prides itself on welcoming and engaging children in all aspects of our faith life together, including in worship! I am excited to learn alongside each of you through this fellowship to take new skills and insights back to my community.
