
J.D. Allen (he/him)
Rev. J.D. Allen has served as a pastor in the United Methodist Church since 2011 and was ordained as an elder in 2015. He has been in some form of local church of house church ministry, across multiple traditions, since 1997. In addition to local church ministry, he has spent time doing advocacy work with the Dallas Area Progressive Christian Alliance, Workers Defense Project, and a variety of workers' rights and immigrant advocacy organizations. J.D. is married to Katy and they have two adult children, Ava and Gaje. In his spare time, J.D. enjoys quality time with family and friends, trivia nights, DFW professional and Texas Longhorns sports, and is currentlylearning stand-up comedy.
