Jennifer Schroder
Jennifer is on faculty at Abilene Christian University where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in children and family ministry, children's spiritual formation, and contextual ministry. Jennifer holds dual doctorates-a Doctor of Ministry from ACU and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Michigan State University-and previously served as a children's pastor for 17 years before coming to work at ACU full-time. Her first love is children's ministry, and because she has stepped out of full-time formal ministry, she gets to be the "world's best children's ministry volunteer" (self-identified). Seriously, though, every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening, you can find her right in the middle of the children's ministry learning with and from all of her favorite people. Jennifer, her husband, Greg, and their four children call Abilene, Texas home and simply love spending time together as a family. She also carries a deep love for Coke Zero, Spam, and Velveeta.
