Jordan Thornton (he/him)

I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and a devout Bucks and Packers fan through and through. As a lifelong educator, I’ve spent my entire professional career in the education space—teaching, running before- and after-school programs, and just about everything in between. All of it has given me a wide range of experiences working with youth. Right now, I’m a Program Manager at the University of Arizona where I design programs and teach classes focused on leadership and career development. Just as important to this cohort, I’ve also been the Children and Youth Director at Southside Presbyterian Church (Tucson, AZ) for the last 3½ years. I’m really excited to be in community with other child-centered leaders and to grow in new storytelling practices. Outside of work, I’m a huge football fan, a dog dad to two great pups, and getting ready to tie the knot with my wonderful fiancée on Valentine’s Day. Life is full of blessings, including being part of this amazing cohort and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.
