Rev. Dr. Neal D. Presa
Rev. Neal D. Presa, Ph.D. is Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of San Jose, Senior Fellow of the Center for Pastor Theologians, Affiliate Associate Professor of Preaching at Fuller Theological Seminary, and Senior Visiting Professor of Practical Theology at Union Theological Seminary (Philippines).
A past Moderator of the 220th General Assembly (2012-14) of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), he represents the denomination at the World Council of Churches Central Committee and Executive Committee, where he leads both the Finance Policy Committee and the Finance Subcommittee. He is a past Chair and Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Presbyterian Foundation. He is the author/editor of nine books and over 100 published essays, chapters, and book reviews, including the 2025 monograph, "Worship, Justice, and Joy: A Liturgical Pilgrimage" as part of Cascade's Worship & Witness series. He is married to Grace Rhie (a book publisher) and they have two young adult sons. As empty-nesters, they live with their dog Calvin near Silicon Valley.
