Rev. Quentisha Davis Wiles “Pastor Q”
I'm Rev. Quentisha Davis Wiles, "Pastor Q," serving as Senior Pastor of Saint Mark's United Methodist Church in Sacramento, California. As a liberation theologian, I examine scripture through a womanist lens, believing the Word brings freedom and transformation. My work bridges ministry and social justice, drawing on more than 25 years of leadership in ministry and caring for congregations, combined with 30 years in human services such as community mental health, crisis intervention, and organizational leadership. I am now pursuing a doctorate in Workplace Theology, Ethics & Leadership at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, with a focus on the role of clergy as ethical agents in community development. I maintain a consulting practice focused on transformational leadership development, workplace conflict navigation, and restorative practices with special attention to cultural humility. Outside of work, I treasure time with my husband Edward, our children, and grandchildren. I find joy in reading, writing poetry, painting, listening to jazz, and taking nature walks—these quiet moments refresh my spirit and fuel my creativity. I'm looking forward to connecting with fellow participants, learning from diverse perspectives, and exploring new frameworks for integrating faith, leadership, and social transformation. My life scriptures—Proverbs 4:7 and 2 Timothy 2:15—ground my commitment to wisdom and lifelong learning.
