In June of 2026 I will celebrate my 40th anniversary of being an ordained minister in the PCUSA. God has given me a season of renewal with a call we accepted at the Atascocita Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. We began three years ago and have found great joy in this wonderful community of faith. We are having some growth among our children, teens, and their families, and I hope to gain ideas and encouragement through this cohort experience. I spent fifteen years as a youth minister, and my passion for children and teens has not diminished one bit. We have five grandchildren in the Houston area. My grandkids call me Bubba, which was my nickname as a youth pastor. God has brought my wife and I to a great season of ministry, time with family, and spiritual renewal.
